Description

We are looking for a Structural Designer with experience working on large commercial buildings, hospitals, airports, manufacturing facilities or industrial projects to join our team! Our Structural Designers are major contributors in leading design aspects on a wide variety of structural system options for commercial, health care, aviation, manufacturing and industrial projects located throughout the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete detailed drawings from sketches, plans, specifications, and written and verbal instructions using Revit.
  • Coordinate with others to lay out, or detail components and systems, to ensure conformity to design concepts, and to resolve problems.
  • Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures. Knowledge of standard operations, policies and procedures of a Firm preferably within the A/E industry.
  • Knowledge of CADD techniques, tools and principles.
  • Ability to exercise strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to be proactive in determining the necessary steps to meet objectives and performance expectations of position.
  • Skill in design and drawing within an architectural/engineering environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree with a focus in Structural, Drafting or Design
  • Minimum of 10 years of structural design and consulting experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
