Position Description

Responsible for developing enhancing and implementing new and existing marking approaches using various media resources for the purpose of customer awareness and satisfaction. Individual will coordinate, plan and deliver marketing campaigns to generate awareness and communicate a department's overall message.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Create high-quality, impactful, and effective photo/video that meets university objectives and brand standards to be used across various marketing methods including print, email, web, and social.
  • Continuously seek professional development to remain current on skills and knowledge related to production.
  • Manage the photo/video library to facilitate efficient access for team members, ensuring they can easily locate assets as needed. Methodically organize and categorize assets, providing training and support on leveraging the library effectively.
  • Independently coordinate photo/video shoots in alignment with library inventory to ensure regular updates and relevance, providing team with a diverse array of asset options that align with the goals of the division.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team and Enrollment Management units to ensure that photo/video projects are delivered in a timely manner. Ensure that project statuses are adequately documented within the project management tool.
  • Maintain and manage photo/video equipment, including inventory.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate photo/video shoots.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of admissions and higher education
  • Multimedia production (photography, video production, motion graphics, equipment management, etc.)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, etc.)
  • Project management experience
  • Brand management experience
  • Social media experience
  • College level coursework in creative media, photography, videography, advertising, marketing, or related fields.
