Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
It is the responsibility of a Junior Project Accountant to prepare client invoices and assist the CFO with tasks relating to the general ledger, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other Client related invoicing requirements. In the performance of this role, the Junior Project Accountant is responsible to protect and promote the interest of IHC Construction Companies, LLC in all matters.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Full Project Billing and Payment Cycle
  • Prepare client invoices for 2 to 5 projects
  • Collect subcontractor invoices and collection of related waivers and certified payrolls
  • Work with PM’s to accurately complete Schedule of Values
  • Work with PMs to insure a complete monthly invoice package to ensure timely payment

Job Costing
  • Process subcontractor and material invoices
  • Set up new jobs in Vista Software
  • Work with estimating for the proper import of estimates and phase codes

Miscellaneous
  • Prepare and input Certified Payroll information for various clients to meet job requirements
  • Inform supervisor of all important issues and ask for help when needed
  • Develop communication skills and sensitivity to the needs of the entire team
  • Organize and implement timely project close out
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Technology
Familiar with or capable of becoming proficient in Project Management Software, including but not limited to Vista, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam and the various client specific websites and portals.
