Job Description:

This position is responsible for managing the general accounting function for the Region in accordance with regulatory and advisory organizations.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for all financial related matters of the Region, including AR/AP/Inventory Control
• Manages local accounting staff
• Works closely with General Manager and the entire management team
• Coordinates monthly closing process
  • Prepares and reviews journal entries for the Region
  • Maintains account reconciliations (prepaids, accruals, etc.)
• Develops annual budgets/ monthly forecasts, and communicates to management team
• Responsible for timely and accurate preparation of the Daily Profitability Report
• Helps management analyze and justify capital expenses
• Works with independent accountants to plan and execute financial statement audit and Sarbanes-Oxley audit for the Region
• Special projects as needed

• Knowledge of financial reporting requirements
• Ability to work with all levels of personnel in a team environment
• Proactive strategic thinker
• Skilled at analytics, budgeting, financial planning, financial statement preparation and analysis
• Experience with capital projects
• Manufacturing / Job Costing Knowledge
• Ability to translate a business opportunity into a financial justification
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting
• Public Accounting Experience a plus
• High degree of technical competency using various software platforms
• 5+ years of related accounting or finance experience preferably in a large manufacturing setting
