Data Engineer - TS/SCI with CI Poly

Xcelerate Solutions is supporting the IC Chief Data Office to provide senior oversight and strategic vision for building a data-driven IC enterprise. Our teams are focused on end-to-end data lifecycle management, reducing the time from collection to actionable insight by ensuring data is made AI- ready and consumable by both humans and machines to solve critical mission challenges. We are seeking a Data Engineer to collaborate with a team in realizing these strategic objectives. Security Clearance:
TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

Responsibilities:

  • Guide and oversee development of IC data strategy, standards, acumen, policy, and services related to sharing & safeguarding information and data.
  • Develop technology roadmaps to achieve IC mission needs regarding data interoperability or emerging AI technology.
  • Partner with members of the IC and private sector to identity future digital and data transformation needs
  • Lead IC initiatives to influence innovation, immersive and emerging technologies to accelerate whole-of-government adoptions.
  • Advocate for data and information interoperability between IC and Non-IC organizations.
  • Foster development, adoption, and use of solutions and standards that promote data and information sharing, safeguarding, and interoperability across the IC and between the IC and its external national security partners.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years' experience as data architect, data engineer or data analyst
  • Must have TS/SCI CI polygraph security clearance
  • Familiarity with big data enterprise solutions
  • Experience with metadata and ontology standards
  • Track record of active learning and creative problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to understand data centric IT operations such as data warehousing solutions, data lakes, and ETL processes in cloud environments at a terabyte or petabyte scale.
  • Previous experience performing research and development in data analytics or big data.
