Job Summary
iDoxSolutions, a B&A company, is looking for a talented WordPress Developer to join our team supporting a Federal client. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress websites, themes, and plugins. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front-end and back-end development, as well as experience with WordPress best practices and standards.
Responsibilities
  • Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on client requirements.
  • Modify existing WordPress themes and plugins to enhance functionality and user experience.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services into WordPress websites.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to implement website designs and ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
  • Perform website updates, maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Optimize website performance for speed and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and technologies.
Education and Experience
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree
Required Skills
  • Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
  • Experience with responsive web design techniques.
  • Knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce.
  • Familiarity with performance optimization tools and techniques.
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Experience with server management and hosting environments.
  • Knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Sketch.
Security Clearance
  • Active clearance preferred.
  • The ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
