Job Description

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Partners with other Reliability Engineers to design and develop automated monitoring with key performance and service level indicators; and works to improve system resiliency, performance and efficiency.
  • Helps to build platforms that teams can leverage to accelerate innovation in the areas of reliability, scalability and velocity.
  • Provides operational support for Continuous Feedback and Event Analytics platform; and provides operational and release support for on-site and cloud applications.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Software Engineering or related field; or equivalent combinations of education and experience. Training/certifications in technical disciplines, examples: Microsoft Certified System Administration or Engineer training/certifications.
  • One to three years hands on experience with software engineering, enterprise operations support, object-oriented programming, and or automation. Hands on experience with computer system support/network administrator experience required. Experience with operating and support in cloud, multi-cloud, and on-prem environments.

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

  • AWS Certification, Scripting or Code language training and or VMWare training/certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of agile software development methodologies, standards and architecture frameworks.
  • Familiarity with scripting and interpreted languages, such as: Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript and Python.
