Are you a local college student with a "must win" attitude looking for real world marketing experience with an iconic Milwaukee organization?

Are you ready to help market an innovative total power solution that is going to change the off-road industry forever?

The Marketing Intern will be fully integrated into the electrification marketing team by supporting the product marketing and communication initiatives for the electrification portfolio including lithium-ion batteries, motors, controllers and chargers.

As part of the marketing team you will have the opportunity to help create a strong brand presence, brainstorm new ideas, and see your work come to life. You will collaborate across the organization on a regular basis. This also means the chance to manage content on landing pages, such as images, video and text and channel management. You will also contribute to end-to-end project management while working alongside graphic designers, outside agencies, copywriters, and video production professionals. Establishing and monitoring metrics, KPIs for these efforts is also a part of the task, as well as sharing these with the team.

Start Date: September 2024

Hours per Week: 16 - 20

Schedule: Flexible around school schedule during school year / full time on breaks & summer

Length of Internship: ability to continue working beyond Fall 2024 semester, including through summer

Pay Rate: $17.50/hr (junior); $18.50/hr (senior)

Responsibilities:

  • Become immersed in all marketing activities including brand campaigns, advertising, social media,public relations and trade shows
  • Work closely on a regular basis with digital and marketing team members as well as product management
  • Perform analysis on email campaigns, training initiatives and lead generation programs
  • Assistance with content development for monthly email campaigns and social media platforms
  • Opportunity to travel to tradeshows if needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university studying toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing or communications
  • Must complete the sophomore year in the major program of study prior to beginning an internship
  • Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Fluent in English
  • Competency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Suite
  • Competency in social media platforms

  • Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to both adapt to and manage changing priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels within a team environment
  • Proven ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done while continuously taking initiative and pushing projects forward to meet deadlines
