JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Product Manager/Sr. Product Manager is responsible for managing key marketing initiatives supporting the commercial effort across the Heron product portfolio, including the acute care and oncology franchise. Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Market Access, Training, Medical Affairs and Sales Operations to ensure alignment on execution of strategic initiatives is a requirement. Duties will involve development and execution of marketing tactics while managing timelines and budgets, with a focus on exceeding expectations for product growth. The responsibilities listed are applicable dependent upon the life cycle stage of the products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Closely partner with cross-functional teams to align strategy and develop resources to support the commercial effort.
  • Direct and manage agency of record to create specific projects such as sales materials, non-personal promotion, convention support materials and/or support for sales training.
  • Work closely with Marketing Operations to ensure flawless execution at key congresses and trade shows.
  • Lead the submission, review and approval of key resources through the Promotional Review Committee (PRC) process.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of commercial objectives and assess product performance through analytics in collaboration with Sales Operations
  • Support the onboarding of new sales representatives by managing our training platform, HeronU and ensuring material is up to date, relevant and properly delivered.
  • Ensure on time delivery, quality, and proper production of marketing materials.
  • Directly partner with VP of Marketing to support PR activities
  • Provides other widespread support for the Marketing Department.
  • Reporting to the VP, Marketing

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS degree in related field of study.
  • 2+ years minimum experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with senior and executive management.
  • Strong organization, prioritization and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Capacity to negotiate and motivate at different levels without hierarchical authority.
  • Thorough working knowledge of all Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to produce spreadsheets and reports.
