Job Description

We are seeking a Vice President of Loan Operations to supervise and coordinate the operations of the Bank's commercial and residential loan departments while providing vision, leadership and direction. This position is full-time in-office position with fully paid medical, dental and vision insurance, as well as dollar-for-dollar 401(k) match up to 10%; life insurance; disability plan; pension plan after 2 years of service; and generous vacation and paid-time off.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and update department policies and procedures.
  • Manage the accurate, timely onboarding of all residential, consumer and larger commercial loans, including Participations, Commercial Real Estate and C&I Loans.
  • Develop and implement process efficiencies while managing risk and control.
  • Regularly review reports and daily processes to proactively manage potential risks.
  • Collaborate with auditors, loan review teams and examiners during assessments of Loan Operations
  • Review daily all parameter maintenance, bankruptcy/charge-off processing and maintenance, eOscar credit bureau reporting and dispute resolution, customer reporting requests and generation, audit preparation and response, periodic reporting and investor remittances and balancing
  • Act as liaison for core and other operating systems and other projects or initiatives.
  • Design office workflow system, incorporating use of data processing and computer hardware options.


Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and goal oriented; enjoys leading a team.
  • Utilizes strong organization skills to perform and prioritize a high volume of tasks simultaneously.
  • Consistently achieves goals and meets strict deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to context, substance and detail.
  • Embraces the team-oriented culture and works collaboratively across the Bank to support the Bank's strategic growth plans.
  • Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word knowledge required. Knowledge of and experience with Encompass and Jack Henry software preferred but not required.
