Title: Administrative Assistant and Sustainability and Compliance Coordinator

Reports to: Senior Vice President, Chief Sustainability & Compliance Officer

Location: Norwalk, CT (Hybrid - 3 days on site)

Job Description

This role will support the sustainability and compliance team, with initiatives, projects, and processes. The ideal candidate will show an interest in and seek to expand role in the area of compliance and/or sustainability. This role will also provide administrative support to two members of the Terex Executive Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

Administrative Support (15-20% of duties)

  • Coordinate frequent domestic and international travel, including preparing itineraries; obtaining visas, passports and other travel documents; and modifying arrangements, as necessary

  • Manage calendar in a fast-paced environment, including scheduling, assessing conflicts and informing leaders of commitments

  • Plan and coordinate in person and virtual meetings

  • Prepare and process expense reports in a timely manner

  • Manage and process invoices in a timely manner

  • Prepare ad hoc reports in Excel

  • Prepare c-suite presentations in PowerPoint

  • Manage law firm budgeting process

  • Coordinate language translations of various documents

Sustainability and Compliance Coordinator (80-85% of duties)

  • Responsible for timely delivery of all sustainability and compliance communications including managing and maintaining the Compliance intranet the Sustainability intranet pages and working with the internet team on updates to the terex.com sustainability pages.

  • Responsible for the administration of several compliance software systems, including adding users and troubleshooting.

  • Responsible for Third Party Due Diligence Process Management.

  • Provide export compliance support for internal customers.

  • Support the conflict-of-interest management process.

  • Support the compliance training program

  • Support corporate sustainability and compliance initiatives.

  • Manage the execution of the compliance management and corporate sustainability management systems.

  • Actively support the Business Practices Advocates program, including on-boarding and development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent education plus 2 or more years of relevant experience

  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and meet deadlines

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively

  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills

  • Technically and systems savvy

  • Self-motivated, proactive and independent thinking, problem solver

  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels in the organization

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; including complex Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentation design and Teams (including Teams meetings, webinars, and live events)

Preferred Skills

  • Prior administrative experience strongly preferred

  • Ability to balance workload and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

The hourly rate for this position is $32.70 - 49.04.
