Description

The Marketing Events Administrator is responsible for the timely completion and implementation of all paperwork related to Marketing events. Assists with the planning and execution of internal and corporate events; supports the company's mission by positively impacting the communities it serves. This position will assist with events and budget tracking, logistics planning, vendor coordination and staff oversight at the event. The Administrator will prepare pre and post event reporting that measures company participation and presence at local event venues that advance business strategies. Collaborates with Marketing, Human Resources and Corporate Communications to promote brand awareness and build strong relationships with key constituents in the local business market.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist with internal and corporate events
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the tracking system for internal and corporate events
  • Responsible for monthly event reporting
  • Responsible for assisting in event coordination in aspects of the internal and corporate events including development of theme, budget management, vendor relationships, giveaways and apparel, event technology and coordination of staff members at day of event
  • Ensure internal and corporate events adhere to critical timelines through short/long term project planning that drive and deliver positive results
  • Ensure all internal and corporate events are documented in Salesforce and coordinates with Marketing Outreach team appropriately
  • Ensure executive and leadership teams are fully prepared and coordinated for corporate events
  • Coordinate giveaways and apparel orders with Marketing Production team
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining a database of all key vendors, community partners, key stakeholders, etc.
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining the internal volunteer program
  • Follow compliance standards for new lines of business in order to minimize errors
  • Work in accordance to departments compliance-related policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Corporate Compliance Responsibility - As an essential function, responsible for complying with Neighborhood's Corporate Compliance Program, Standards of Business Conduct, applicable contracts, laws, rules and regulations, policies, and procedures as it applies to individual job duties, the department, and the Company. This position must exercise due diligence to prevent, detect, and report unlawful and/or unethical conduct by fellow co-workers, professional affiliates and/or agents.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent work experience in related area in lieu of the degree
  • Minimum of two (2) years of office experience; event coordination experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills (written/verbal)
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, databases and design applications)
  • Ability to participate in and contribute to a high-performing, dynamic work team along with assist in planning and organizing special events
  • Strong attention to detail, follow through and organization
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
  • Self-motivated, energetic and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of independence
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and carry items up to 200 feet
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Demonstrate maturity and professional conduct
  • An eye for details
  • Some weekend and evening work
  • A valid driver's license, possess auto insurance and an automobile is required for travel

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in related area
  • Familiarity with a variety of marketing concepts, practices and procedures
