Responsible for ongoing enhancement and maintenance of specialized lending specific software, working closely with the lines of business to ensure software is utilized effectively, and to ensure vendors are meeting service agreements. Constantly strives to collaborate with stakeholders driving product and software efficiencies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages and coordinates product development tasks relative to specialized lending applications
• Serve as technical liaison for all specialized lending vendors
• Evaluates and resolves technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues
• Develop release documentation providing details on new functionality and system changes to business lines, vendors, and senior management
• Perform product reviews of existing products and services used. Look to identify areas where a department may optimize their system usability.
• Documents system standards and ensure that the Bank is adhering specifications
• Coordinates system upgrades with all stakeholders (Business line, IT Ops, IT Support, IT Security, Vendor)
• Helps to develop business continuity plans with business units and technology partners. Also helps to facilitate BCP Testing impacting the lending divisions
• Proficient in documenting business process and providing recommendations for continuous improvement
• Utilize business/functional requirements to develop test scripts and test system changes/functionalities
• Communicates process changes, enhancements, and modifications to internal and external customers, as appropriate.
• Identify data processing gaps between various systems and stakeholders and recommend solutions to resolve
• Documents system standards and ensure that the Bank is adhering specifications
• Identifies potential new product opportunities and areas to increase efficiency
• Assist with vendor evaluation relative to lending software applications
• Works with business line, IT Operations, and IT Security to establish product development, vendor strategy, and security alignment
• Support developments of bank products ensuring project deliverables are met
• Ability to articulate business proposals in a logical, well documented fashion
• Tracks product enhancements/system issues
• Assist with maintaining the product enhancement workbook and following up with business lines and vendors to ensure that bugs/issues and enhancements are being addressed
• Meets regularly with vendors to drive product enhancements
• Monitor vendor roadmap and system enhancements, ultimately creating proposals to implement new features which reduce cost and/or increase efficiency
• Research and evaluate product landscape and capabilities across vendors to ensure NB is appropriately enabled and leveraging the best solution
• Develop procedures to assist IT System Support to resolve common errors

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive knowledge of specialized lending including Solar, Renewable Energy, line of business processes and applications
• Knowledge working with LoanVantage, COCC, Chatham Financials, Identifi (Preferred)
• Excellent documentation skills
• Knowledge of participation lending
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Extension knowledge of the Bank's software applications, technological infrastructure, networking and network design, and all data processing systems
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
• Experience with MS-Office products, specifically; Visio, Excel, Word

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree or more than 5 years experience in a related area
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management both verbally and in writing
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to multi-task while completing projects under tight timelines

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Normal business office environment
• Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary
• Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management
• Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance
