Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsible for taking a leadership role in the monthly and annual Medicare and Medicaid filings (i.e. cost reports, wage index, provider tax) of a multi-hospital system comprised of acute care, Children's, and teaching facilities, and the audit of those filings. Oversees the Reimbursement Associate's work related to preparation of Medicare bad debt submission. Serves as departmental point person relative to obtaining, manipulating, and analyzing data. Also serves as a resource to other departments relative to payment modeling and research of possible payment variances.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Three years in a healthcare setting
  • Bachelor Degree
