Description

General Summary:

The Service Network Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the daily operations between Honda Aircraft Company and the Authorized Service Center (ASC) network. The position will coordinate with both internal and external organizations to ensure delivery of consistently high levels of customer service through an international network of Dealers and Authorized Service Centers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with Honda Aircraft Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service organizations in the development and analysis of data to identify market needs, demands and growth potential of the global service and support network.

2. Assist in the identification, assessment, evaluation, and selection of aircraft service partners and development of presentations and business analysis for consideration of the Distribution Committee.

3. Coordinate with Field Service Representatives in accomplishing audits and monitoring the performance of Dealers/Authorized Service Centers in achieving published metrics for reporting and service operations, identify areas for improvement, and then collaborate with the Dealer/Authorized Service Center to implement process improvements and correct any deficiencies.

4. Assist in development and presentation of ASC meetings, customer meetings, and training programs.

5. Develop metrics to manage performance of service network.

Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:

1. Education requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related technical field is preferred, however equivalent industry training and experience may be accepted.

2. Candidates will have five (5) or more years of experience in business/corporate or general aviation industry and demonstrate a working understanding of OEM customer service operations and domestic and international regulations associated with Part 145 type operations

3. Practical experience with Repair Station operations is beneficial.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Experience with turbine-powered aircraft maintenance and repair station practices.

2. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

3. Working knowledge of business software applications and their use in creating processes, reports, presentations, and metrics.

4. Basic understanding of financial, accounting, and P&L principles.

5. Detail oriented, organized, and ability to think both strategically and tactically.

6. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse international service network to develop strong personal relationships.

7. Multi-lingual is desired but not required.

8. Ability for international travel to support on-site visits and industry trade shows.

9. FAA pilot and/or A&P certification desired but not required.

Physical Requirements:

1. Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.

2. Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, climb ladders, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.

3. Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).

4. Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties

5. Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.

6. Effectively communicate in Business English language.

7. Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 1O lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.

8. Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50/bs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided "reach assistance technology" or "movement assist technology" (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly's, robotics reach equipment, people movers etc.), as required by job duties.
