Your Opportunity:Taylor Corporationis seeking aWarehouse Managertomanage the overall day-to-day operation within ourJeffersonville, IN, facility. The position is responsible for cost efficiency, recruitment and talent development, training, FDA Program compliance, scheduling and ensuring a safe work environment.
Your Responsibilities:
Manage the day to day operations of a customer's distribution operation
Manage a 3-shift operation (may need to float between shifts as needed)
Ensure a safe work environment
Oversee hiring, training and maintaining employee relations
Responsible for controlling expenses, inventory control and loss prevention
Ensuring FDA Registration compliance
KPIs including but not limited to: ship accuracy, inbound receiving, outbound order shipping, returns, inventory integrity, and customer satisfaction
Ensuring contractual compliance
Ensures timely distribution of merchandise
Adhere to establishedwarehousepoliciesandpractices
Develop departmental budgets and control costs
Manage relationships with onsite Customers, Customer Service, and Sales
Your Shift:
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (additional hours may be required), Monday - Friday.
You Must Have:
Leadership experience
Understanding of Lean Principles and Process Improvement
Documented work history of increasing responsibility
Ability to communicate well through email and virtual meetings.
Strong working knowledge of UPS
Knowledge of operations of material handling equipment such as sit-down lift trucks, reach trucks and order pickers
Experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and utilizing bar code scanners
