Job Summary

Intern will assist in prototype builds, inspection, and testing. Intern will also create SolidWorks models, detail Engineering drawings, and complete Engineering Change Requests. Must be available for 6 months from June 2024 through December 2024. Full time 1st shift. Pay $17.00 - $21.00 DOE

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Using SolidWorks develop, prepare and or modify detailed engineering drawings from preliminary concept, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data.
  • Assembly, testing, and inspection of electric motors.
  • Perform engineering studies on production floor as well as document results and implement response.
  • Develop, prepare and or modify detailed engineering drawings using 3D models in SolidWorks
  • Create design documentation.
  • Communicate designs and changes by making recommendations, proposals, and presentations.

Qualifications - Education & Experience

  • Undergraduate Candidate must be completed at least 1 years of a BS in electrical or mechanical engineering or engineering technology degree.
  • Candidate must possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills allowing the candidate to interface with operations cross-functional team; quality, production, purchasing and sales.
  • Mechanical adeptness or familiarity with lab or testing equipment is preferred.

Required Skills

  • Proficient with hand tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • SolidWorks experience.
  • Pre-employment drug and background screening
