Job Description
The New York office is seeking an associate with 3-4 years of experience to join the Derivatives practice. Our cross-border Derivatives practice advises clients on a wide range of matters and spans all asset classes and product types. The practice supports numerous groups across the firm, from energy and infrastructure, restructuring and special situations and M&A to fintech, digital assets and litigation. Client types include banks, broker-dealers, futures commission merchants, insurance companies, private equity funds, hedge funds, credit funds and market-makers. Ideal candidates will have experience with transactional as well as regulatory matters, and they must have experience drafting and negotiating documentation related to derivatives trading, including ISDA Master Agreements, Prime Brokerage Agreements, Master Repurchase Agreements, Master Securities Forward Transaction Agreements, Accelerated Share Repurchase Agreements, Futures Agreements, and Cleared Derivatives Execution Agreements. Experience with corporate equity derivatives (e.g., converts, call spreads, etc.) is a plus. A successful candidate will be proactive, interested in client development, and willing to learn and master a wide range of derivatives-related skills.

Candidates must be admitted to the New York State Bar and be in good standing. Law firm experience is required. Please submit a cover letter, resume, deal sheet, and law school transcript.

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $260,000 and a maximum of $310,000 (annually). The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
