Job Posting: Procurement Manager - Offshore Services
Location: Newington, NH

Company Overview: Our client, a leader in the marine services industry, is seeking a Procurement Manager to join their team in Newington, NH. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for the acquisition of materials, components, equipment, and services essential for operational efficacy within the offshore services group.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all procurement activities to ensure orders and contracts are placed in a timely manner
  • Improve Supply Chain processes and support the overall Supply Chain Organization
  • Review and approve Purchase Orders within the procurement system
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for contracts, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards
  • Utilize strong financial acumen to analyze procurement data, manage budget targets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures, industry regulations, and ethical practices throughout the procurement process
  • Manage all subcontractor commercial issues from development to fulfillment
  • Generate appropriate correspondence within the Supply Chain Organization and with suppliers
  • Provide weekly reports to stakeholders, attend regular meetings, and interface with all departments to resolve problems and issues
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the procurement team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, paralegal or technical degree; demonstrated equivalency will be considered
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement management required, with a proven track record of success in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiating skills required
  • Experience within the marine services or oil and gas industry preferred
  • Experience with Oracle and MS Project a plus

Salary: $130,000 with a 6-10% bonus

General Comments:

  • Must have experience supporting marine services teams
  • Must have a background with supply contracts
  • Familiarity with RFQs, proposals, scopes, and generating contracts required
  • Must know terms and conditions
