ABOUT THIS POSITION

The Care Pathway Specialist (CPS) position provides technical and clinical expertise, educational and field support to ensure the safe adoption of the Inspire Care Pathway. The CPS is responsible for working with customers, physicians, clinic staff and Inspire field staff to drive procedural and practice success.

OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE

  • Provide both technical and clinical support during Inspire Care Pathway follow up activities for field personnel including certification of customers.
  • Provide instruction for new Inspire employee (primarily field personnel) including Activation, Post-Implant Care Certification and the Inspire Care Pathway certification.
  • Provide technical and development leadership for the Inspire Care Pathway.
  • Provide follow up with customers including procedural reviews, in-servicing as well as training and educational support.
  • Assist field personnel and customers in device troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with sales personnel and sales leadership on appropriate training/support for targeted customers.
  • Proactively disseminate peer-reviewed scientific and clinical information to customers and assigned sales team as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal partners including but not limited to Quality, Clinical Research, Marketing, Sales Training.
  • Stay current on relevant scientific publications and clinical evidence.
  • Develop relationships with key opinion leaders and work with high-volume, high-quality customers to glean new learnings for best practices.
  • Drive successful adoption of the Inspire Care Pathway.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related clinical/healthcare/medical device industry experience...(OR)...a Professional Certification with 5+ years of related clinical/healthcare/medical device industry experience.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a clinical setting.
  • Strong computer skills with MS office including PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Problem solving/trouble shooting skills.
  • Ability to travel which may include overnight (estimated 3-4 times/month).

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Science, Technology or Engineering preferred.
  • Respiratory Therapy certification, Registered Polysomnographic Technologist Certification (RPSGT), Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) certification, or clinical sleep educator certification.
  • Previous experience with implantable devices or previous experience with sleep medicine industry.
