For our MIR and AMMEGA Production team, we are currently looking for a




PRODUCTION LEAD




As a Conveyor Belt Technician, you will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of conveyor belts and related industrial products. In this role, you will be based in Dexter, MI.


A day in the life of a Production Lead can look like:

  • Facilitating the processing of customers' orders by interacting with regional managers, outside sales, production, and office staff.
  • Managing safety initiatives for the company. Administering best practices and training programs designed by the safety manager to achieve goal of zero accidents or injuries.
  • Ensuring all orders are processed in a safe, efficient, and orderly manner.
  • Overseeing quality control aspects as related to the production shop in collaboration with the Operations or Production Manager.
  • Coordinating scheduling of installations with the sales team.
  • Communicating with supervisor regarding assigned orders, scheduling, and other production issues.
  • Ensuring all shipping and receiving duties are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensuring installations are performed in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality, professionalism, or safety.
  • Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Projecting a professional and courteous demeanor when communicating with others.
  • Maintaining a positive attitude towards work in the team environment.

We are looking for you to have:

  • A High School diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • At least three (3) years of experience as a conveyor belt fabricator.
  • Some supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong fundamental math skills.
  • Ability to regularly lift heavy weight materials (75+ pounds on average).
  • Ability to regularly bend, stoop, rotate arms and upper body; ability to frequently push, pull, sit, stand, and reach. Some climbing is required.
