Your Team, Your Impact

As a Digital IC Design Senior Staff Engineer with Marvell, you'll be a member of the Automotive business group. Marvell Automotive Business Unit connects the connected car with high-quality products and solutions, including Ethernet switches and PHY products that provide automotive infotainment, autonomous driving with wired connectivity, and co-application processor platforms that function in the Automotive Ethernet ecosystem.

What You Can Expect

To be successful in the position, you need to be a self-starter and be curious about our technology, with a strong desire to be involved in many stages of Automotive Ethernet switch chip development. As a member of the Automotive design team, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Design and implement digital low-power RTL code that meets automotive industry reliability, safety, and performance standards.

  • Collaborate with the verification team on the verification test plan, coverage analysis, and full-chip simulation.

  • Collaborate with the design and silicon validation team to debug and troubleshoot silicon functionality, performance, and reliability issues.

  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure efficient and accurate testing during chip fabrication.

  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with design engineers to improve chip quality.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5-10 years of related professional experience. Or Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3-5 years of experience.

  • The candidate should have hands-on experience in all aspects of the chip development process and proficiency in front-end tools and methodologies.

  • Experience in micro-architecture design, RTL coding, and functional verification.

  • Knowledge of Ethernet protocol or previous experience with network IC.

  • Good understanding of silicon debugging and validation of mixed-signal/digital ICs.

  • Fluent in System Verilog RTL coding techniques

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

124,160 - 186,000, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
