Job Title: Senior Manager, Online + Offline Data Product Owner

What You Will Do:

The Zone Consumer O+O Data Domain Product Owner is accountable and responsible of the delivery of the share domain data assets to ensure accessibility of Zone data needed for use cases (including data integration, acquisition, cleansing, harmonization and structuring in layers of data platform)

  • Work closely with the Beauty Tech Data Team, Global Domain DPO and use case Product Owners
  • Prioritize roadmap/backlog in Agile delivery mode with Beauty Tech Data Engineer and API Center of Expertise

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Organization

  • Work with Global domain DPO to define shared data set and API roadmap. Prioritize according to use case needs with use case Product Owner and Beauty Tech Data Team.
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional business requirements.
  • Identify needs for ingesting new data sources. Work with IT Data Custodian and Beauty Tech Data Team to source the data.
  • Ensures transversality of data sources so that they can serve multiple domain use cases
  • Maintain an up-to-date shared data set (life cycle management)
  • Define and plan remediation and enhancement in run phase

Deliverables

  • Manage and prioritize the dataset backlog for the Zone
  • Prepare data for use cases by specifying governed Business Objects
  • Identify data sources, translate use case needs into data requirements, document data transformation needs
  • Create data quality governance process and associated monitoring tools
  • Create data automation standards associated with local sources and associated monitoring tools
  • Document data flows in Discovery
  • Define and track key success metrics
  • Create test scenarios and supervise data validation with testing team

  • Solid-line: AVP, Data Governance
  • Global Dotted-line: Global Data Domain PM or Lead DPO

Required Qualifications:

Soft Skills

  • Self-driven and comfortable to make appropriate decisions supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products across different use cases

Data-related technical skills

  • Strong analytical skills
  • A combination of data management and business knowledge to be able to translate the use case needs into data driven solutions
  • Ability to build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, and dependency

Domain Knowledge

  • Familiarity with marketing, digital marketing, advertising, eCommerce and promotions (A&P) spending concepts or willingness to learn

Project management

  • Strong Agile project management and organizational skills
  • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment

Tools & programming

  • SQL
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery

  • Salary Range: $119,900 - $170,800 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
