The Sr. Associate, Vendor & Program Engagement is involved with the planning, management, engagement, and execution of contracted performance programs, services, and select special projects, including pilot opportunities for member pharmacies. This position is heavily involved in managing the enrollment into internal/external vendor platforms and performance programs.

The Sr. Associate works across a broad range of performance improvement activities and develops and maintains reporting needed to document, monitor progress, and success against defined goals. This role shares pertinent reporting and data to internal partners to help drive engagement, enrollment, and execution. They help to support the Manager, Vendor and Program Engagement in internal/external communications, education materials, and resources associated with programs, including Payer programs, pilots, vendors, and other revenue generating services.

Key Responsibilities

Engagement and Execution of Programs

  • Assist in development of communications and resources
  • Assist in development of internal materials (talking points, FAQ's, etc) to aid in the engagement and execution of programs
  • Partners include Payer Engagement, Field Engagement, Operations, Marketing, McKesson Pharmacy Technology Solutions, RelayHealth, Pharmacy Solutions and other McKesson departments as required across a broad range of performance improvement activities

Enrollment/ Maintenance of Pharmacies/Users in Programs and Internal/External Platforms

  • Performs duties to enroll pharmacies/users using a variety of methods (SFDC, DocuSign, Data Entry) into available programs and Internal/External Platforms
  • Liaison to vendor partners for any enrollment activities and to resolve user issues
  • Assist in strategy and execution of enrollment in programs/platforms

Reporting

  • Obtain data and analyze to make recommendations on reporting that is needed
  • Create and maintain needed reporting
  • Share pertinent reporting with partners

Special Project / Pilot Opportunities

  • Participate and assist in Pharmacy Engagement Special Projects
  • Participate in outbound call/email campaigns as needed

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience

Critical Skills

  • Knowledge and 2+ years of relevant experience required, experience in pharmacy or payer space is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to design and create reports of complex scope under minimum supervision
  • Proficient in all Microsoft products with an emphasis on MS Excel
  • Must be highly self-motivated, decisive, accountable, able to multi-task, use sound judgment and prioritize key tasks
  • Able to work efficiently with minimum supervision and meet deadlines
  • Experience in the use of Salesforce, a plus
  • Ability to analyze data received to translate into actionable insights and provide recommendations
  • Must be able to develop QA process to ensure reporting is accurate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with others

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$56,900 - $94,800
