We are looking for Verbal Brand Lead to join our Corporate Marketing team reporting to the Sr. Director of Brand Management. In this role, you will use your insights and creativity to shape the brand narrative and copy of Infoblox, an industry-leading security and networking company. You will focus on the areas where technology and creativity intersect, translating complex products into stories that captivate and educate.

What you'll do:
  • Craft engaging messages by developing inspirational content and communicating clearly across brand touchpoints
  • Distill technical information and concepts into clear and compelling narratives. Combine business strategy with creative insight to enhance the brand's impact
  • Enable verbal brand impact and consistency across the company by creating verbal brand enablement materials-style guides, voice, and tone
  • Develop creative briefs that connect strategic goals to what audiences care about and use those briefs to inform creative ideas and direction
  • Manage contract writers on the creative team and facilitate collaboration across verbal and visual brand talent.
  • Foster partnerships with subject matter experts and continually enhance creativity and brand strength through diverse perspectives

What you'll bring:
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in branding, marketing, or a related field, with expertise in verbal identity and strategic communication.
  • A track record of understanding and articulating the nuances of B2B networking and security products is essential
  • A history of verbal brand excellence shaping and maintaining a consistent brand voice across various mediums.
  • Demonstrated skill in crafting compelling short form copy that enhances audience engagement and drives conversions
  • A proven track record of collaboration and leadership working synergistically with both creative and business leaders.
  • The ability to guide cross-functional teams in crafting and executing a cohesive brand message is critical
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the aptitude to break down complex concepts into clear, impactful communications
  • Proficiency with modern digital collaboration tools and the flexibility to thrive in a hybrid work environment
  • Demonstrable experience with or a quick-study ability in B2B SaaS products, especially in networking and cybersecurity, translating product features into compelling marketing narratives
  • Innovative problem-solving and a balance of strategic and creative thinking to address communication challenges with innovative solutions that align with business goals

What success looks like:
After six months, you will...
  • Have fluency with our products and customers, equipping you to authentically represent our brand's voice and value proposition and be able to effectively tell our story through the lens of our customers, connecting their needs and experiences with our solutions
  • Understand how to best execute the projects in our monday.com verbal brand project queue, ensuring efficient workflow and timely execution of deliverables
  • Collaborate effectively through strong relationships with our team of writers and designers, understanding their strengths and fostering a great environment for creativity
  • Own our message houses, refining the copy so it is compelling and accurate, steering clear of superfluous language
  • Create and roll out a new style guide to streamline our communication efforts across various platforms
After about a year, you will...
  • Play a pivotal role in firmly establishing our verbal brand identity in the market through consistent and strategic messaging
  • Ensure the new style guide is fully integrated into all marketing materials and has become a cornerstone of our brand communication
  • Identify ways to assess the market impact of the refined networking narrative and adjust our approach based on analytics and feedback
  • Mentor in-house and external creative teams in understanding and applying our brand's voice, ensuring clarity and cohesion in all communications
  • Initiate and lead new branding projects that further our market leadership and reflect our commitment to innovation in the networking and security space
