Description

Major functions include:

  • Triage of patient complaints
  • Patient assessment, patient evaluation for both adult and pediatric patient populations.
  • Preparation and administration of intravenous drugs and fluids, immunizations, patient education and psychosocial support.
  • Act as a resource to other licensed and unlicensed staff members.
  • Assumes the charge nurse role during non-standard business hours including evenings, weekend and holiday hours.
Salary Range: $63.83 -$96.57/ Hourly
Qualifications

Required:

  • Current California RN License
  • Bachelor's or Masters in Nursing

  1. Current California RN License
  2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  3. Three years ER, Acute Care or Urgent Care and Pediatric Experience
  4. Knowledge of the Adult and Pediatric patient population and practice operations
  5. Knowledge of all aspects procedures and medication administration in an urgent care setting.
  6. Ability to assume direct involvement and provide backup support during clinic emergencies and in patient related problem solving.
  7. Phlebotomy and IV skills
  8. Possession of current BCLS and ACLS certification
