Description
Major functions include:
- Triage of patient complaints
- Patient assessment, patient evaluation for both adult and pediatric patient populations.
- Preparation and administration of intravenous drugs and fluids, immunizations, patient education and psychosocial support.
- Act as a resource to other licensed and unlicensed staff members.
- Assumes the charge nurse role during non-standard business hours including evenings, weekend and holiday hours.
Salary Range: $63.83 -$96.57/ Hourly
Qualifications
Required:
- Current California RN License
- Bachelor's or Masters in Nursing
- Current California RN License
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Three years ER, Acute Care or Urgent Care and Pediatric Experience
- Knowledge of the Adult and Pediatric patient population and practice operations
- Knowledge of all aspects procedures and medication administration in an urgent care setting.
- Ability to assume direct involvement and provide backup support during clinic emergencies and in patient related problem solving.
- Phlebotomy and IV skills
- Possession of current BCLS and ACLS certification
