Basic Purpose
Prepares monthly financial statements, analysis, reporting, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Responsible for fixed asset and lease accounting and reporting. No direct reports.

Primary Responsibilities

80% Responsible for the preparation and tie-out of various financial statements and reports, utilizing systems and tools, distributed to internal and external parties on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Perform account reconciliations for corporate and business unit general ledger accounts to ensure accurate and timely accounting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Prepares various journal entries, including accruals, closing entries, and intercompany entries during month-end. Performs fixed asset accounting, reporting, and reconciling. Responsible for equipment lease accounting, including researching new leases, acquiring appropriate data, entering data into lease management system, and reconciling lease-related accounts.

20% Provide support to corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team on an as needed basis. Responsibilities could include system admin tasks in Workday Adaptive Planning software, variance analysis, reporting, and special projects. Act as a backup of responsibilities for core FP&A responsibilities including partnering with department managers to update forecast and complete variance analysis. Completion of special projects and/or other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required or equivalent experience

2. 4 to 6 years' experience in accounting.

3. Technical knowledge a plus.

4. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

5. Familiarity with Oracle and Adaptive Insights a plus.

6. Proficient with Microsoft Excel.

7. Ability to work independently, be resourceful and problem solve to achieve objectives.
