Position is located in Sacramento, CA.
Under close supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, the incumbent will perform a variety of clerical duties including providing excellent customer service to a wide variety of people in a team environment in person and virtually. The incumbent uses a computer and related Microsoft Office Suite products, spreadsheets, and database applications to perform various tasks.

This position works a maximum of 125 hours per month or 1500 hours per year.
Regular and consistent attendance is critical to the successful performance of this position. Must be regularly available and willing to work the hours necessary to meet the business needs.
Mechanical and Technical Occupational Trainee is a non-testing temporary appointment class. It is designed to provide persons an opportunity to develop skills which will facilitate their permanent entry into State service.

Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by departmental annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
