Primary Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity, typically involving a large project staff
  • Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
  • Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
  • Coordinate staffing and workload of staff through entire project development to complete documents on schedule
  • Conduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with other Project Managers, appropriate technical professionals and other disciplines
  • Work with the Business/Accounting Managers, Project Controllers or Company Controllers and Department Manager or Managing Principal for project reviews
  • Implement QA/QC procedures and execute training for personnel as established

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 10 years related experience
  • A minimum 5 years project management experience
  • PE license
  • MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus)
  • Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • PMP certification
  • Preferred 15+ years of experience working in large, complex projects with strong project management background
  • Water/Wastewater Project Engineering experience preferred, including complex water/wastewater projects including condition assessments, planning and design of collection systems, distribution systems and/or treatment plant projects.
