Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide drafting and design services by preparing and maintaining AutoCAD (Civil 3D) or MicroStation engineering drawings and compile to create a set of permittable plans.
  • Prepare designs from general instruction and preliminary sketches, diagrams or schematics.
  • Prepare working drawings for conceptual plan, final engineering documents and construction record drawings.
  • Coordinate with other team members including engineers, managers, administrative staff, and construction staff

Required Qualifications

  • Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
  • Knowledge and training using AutoCAD, MicroStation and GEOPAK Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
  • Support development of standards, templates, libraries, optimizations, and processes
  • Strong interest in all phases of Civil Engineering including land development, utilities, water resources, and construction.
  • Willingness to assist with a wide range of projects and work with multiple project managers.
  • High attention to detail, good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to ask for additional direction and assistance when needed.
  • Ability to organize, schedule, prioritize, and multi-task in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology preferred
  • 3 years experience using AutoCAD, Civil3D
