Primary Responsibilities

In the role of a Water/Wastewater Conveyance EIT/Coordiantor, we'll count on you to:

  • Create detailed designs of water and wastewater pumping systems, pressurized pipelines and gravity pipelines under instruction from the Project Engineer and Project Manager
  • Prepare plans for pipelines and pumping stations, write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater distribution and collection systems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and work collaboratively with the owner design team members
  • Assist with Construction Administration including shop drawing reviews and field inspections
  • Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • EIT certification strongly preferred. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
  • Interest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilities
  • AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with hydraulic calculations for pump and/or pipeline sizing
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Experience with GIS

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
