Overview
We are seeking motivating and energetic instructors to join our team here at Campus Recreation! Weekday morning and evening availability is preferred. We are currently hiring for a variety of positions for fall 2024!

Classes we are hiring for include:
  • Barre
  • Zumba
  • Karate
  • Weightlifting
  • Olympic Weightlifting
  • Strength & Conditioning
  • HIIT
  • Yoga

Please be sure to put what class(es) you are certified or interested in teaching on your resume!

  • US Work Authorization is required
  • ACA Variable on-campus position (6 hours or less per week)
  • Pass an audition prior to hire.


Responsibilities
  • Create effective, high-energy classes that drive member engagement and results every week.
  • Must follow the guidelines and values outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to each class to assist with setup of class and member questions.
  • Must attend continuing education modules and staff meetings.


Qualifications
Pass an audition prior to hire.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Have a recognized certification or be willing to get one 3 months after hire.
  • Must be a USU student or spouse of USU student, faculty and staff.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Have a current CPR certification (we can help you get one).
  • Must have a passion for group fitness
  • Be friendly, outgoing, and personable
  • Be communicative and timely

Advertised Salary
$13.00 per hour

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
