Job Description

Jellison House, our men's residential program in Johnston, RI is looking for a Residential Treatment Worker to work on a full-timebasis. The 90-day men's residential substance use treatment program works closely with the courts, probation and parole officers and other treatment providers to coordinate continuity of care.This program will also provide basic living skills, relapse prevention and daily psycho-educational groups.Mainly the Treatment Worker will provide ongoing support services and/or crisis intervention, assist clients in medication monitoring/education and facilitating activities with clients, which enhance the quality of living within the residence. Mental health and/or substance abuse experience is preferred.Provide transportation to clients as needed.

Education and Licensing Requirements: Associates degree, attending college in a human services field or an individual with 2 plus years of experience working in the mental health or substance abuse field required.Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification.Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.Background checks will be conducted.
