Description
Steelcase is hiring a Senior Plant Accountant to support our Athens, AL manufacturing facility!

You will be a member of the local Finance team which is part of the North America Operations Finance organization. Your goal is to provide financial decision support to key stakeholders in operations and finance. The local finance team is also responsible for ensuring product costing, operational KPIs, and financial reports accurately reflects the operation.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Partner with business leaders, corporate finance, and cross-functional teams to set and achieve financial targets and in support of operations financial metrics
  • Assist operations leadership in making sound financial decisions related to capital investments
  • Perform a wide range of analyses which require a deep understanding of the business and advanced level of analytical skills
  • Help develop, report, and improve operations metrics
  • Compile, analyze and present financial results to leaders
Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Exceptional Excel skills
  • Demonstrate high proficiency in financial and accounting knowledge
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Tableau and/or SAP
  • Experience in Operations Finance and product costing
  • CPA, CMA, MBA or MAcc
