Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional attention to detail and possess a comprehensive understanding of payroll processing, particularly in the US and Canada regions. This role requires managing payroll functions for multiple countries while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory regulations. The Senior Payroll Specialist will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, handle complex payroll issues independently, and contribute to global payroll projects.
Responsibilities:
*Conduct payroll processing duties with meticulous attention to detail, focusing on audits for assigned countries to maintain payroll accuracy above 99.95% and ensure 99.95% timeliness.
*Process stock vesting and relocation entries promptly upon receipt.
*Stay updated on US and Canada payroll parameters and statutory changes, ensuring alignment with current regulations.
*Collaborate with HR Service Center, local HR operation teams, HRP, and payroll vendors to execute daily payroll activities and resolve payroll-related issues.
*Follow up on tasks assigned by the Payroll Manager/Team Leads and address daily payroll cases raised by stakeholders.
*Coordinate with various teams including LTI, ESPP, HRIS, and HRSC on payroll matters.
*Provide training to new team members as needed.
*Undertake additional projects assigned by the Payroll Manager.
*Independently handle complex payroll issues.
*Responsible for funding amounts up to $100 million for ongoing payrolls.
Basic Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of end-to-end payroll experience
- Proficiency in Workday
- Experience with multi-state payroll
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (BA)
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
- Experience with Canadian payroll, stock, ESPP, and relocation processes
