Overview

Ferrellgas is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist I to join the team! Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for customer support for B2B accounts, resolving past due and reconciliation of the commercial accounts. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalency, with a bachelor's degree preferred, and three years plus of B2B commercial account work-related experience.

Responsibilities
  • Contacts commercial accounts by phone to resolve any AR related issues.
  • Provides commercial account customer support to resolve delinquencies.
  • Coordinates with our internal teams to support the customer AR needs to include missing documentation, cash application, or reconciliation of the account.
  • Ability to work in multiple systems and customer port
  • Reviews and analyzes B2B accounts and receivable aging reports.
  • Deduction research
  • Ability to produce customer customized statements when requested
  • Performs filing and other clerical duties as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalency. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Three years of B2B account receivable experience.
  • Experience supporting B2B or National accounts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on developing a positive rapport with company employees at all levels as well as customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively multi-task.
  • Must be detail oriented with the ability to take projects/tasks through to completion.
  • Demonstrates problem-solving skills in a customer-focused environment.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
