RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assignments are varied and moderately complex
  • Decision making involves compiling and organizing information from a variety of sources and using judgment in applying internal guidelines and procedures.
  • Support GPS initiatives and Coordinate with Supervisor on Attendance and employee performance.
  • Coordinates and schedules workloads for the area.
  • Leads associates in area to work efficiently and perform to expected metrics of safety, quality, delivery and cost.
  • Track and communicate daily goals.
  • Schedules and coordinates production of products in order to satisfy customer demand. Purchase and inventory control of coupling and adapter products.
  • Work results have direct impact on work group or department in terms of quality, productivity, service level and the ability to meet commitments
  • Shift schedule will be - 3pm - 12 midnight

KEYS TO SUCCESS:
Must have strong computer and analytical skills. Experience with Demand Flow, Access and Excel are preferred.

ABOUT YOU
  • 2 years general, experience preferred. Experience with Demand Flow, Access and Excel preferred.
  • In house applicants - anyone with a Current written or final warning and/or Are below attendance goals will not be eligible for an interview
  • 6 weeks will be the standard amount of time for the successful candidate to be transferred to their new position
  • Prior to a job offer being extended to a prospective applicant, the applicant will be required to pass a 3 step interview process, background check, drug screen, physical abilities test will be required.

LEADERSHIP/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead team and schedule workloads to meet expected metrics of safety quality delivery and cost.
  • Conduct team information /continuous improvement meetings.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
