In this entry-level management position, you will collaborate closely with our Janitorial Manager to uphold the impeccable standards of our stores. Your responsibilities will include:
Preserving the overall appearance of the store by executing tasks such as floor polishing, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and maintenance of light fixtures, while promptly addressing spills to ensure a hazard-free environment.
Providing guidance and leadership to the janitorial team, fostering a culture of excellence through supervision, constructive feedback, and setting exemplary standards.
Adhering to strict safety protocols, including proper floor-care techniques, utilization of hazard signage, safe operation of equipment and chemicals, and compliance with all safety regulations to mitigate risks effectively.

What you need to succeed
1+ years of experience in a leadership capacity, preferably in a managerial role, showcasing your ability to inspire and guide others effectively
Hold a high school diploma or equivalent qualification
Demonstrate a foundational understanding of maintenance equipment and chemical usage.
Exhibit a strong work ethic, coupled with the autonomy to execute scheduled duties meticulously and the proactive initiative to address unforeseen challenges as they arise.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Ability to push and pull up to 50 lbs of force occasionally
Occasional: Sitting and climbing; frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, and handling
