In this entry-level management position, you will collaborate closely with our Janitorial Manager to uphold the impeccable standards of our stores. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preserving the overall appearance of the store by executing tasks such as floor polishing, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and maintenance of light fixtures, while promptly addressing spills to ensure a hazard-free environment.
  • Providing guidance and leadership to the janitorial team, fostering a culture of excellence through supervision, constructive feedback, and setting exemplary standards.
  • Adhering to strict safety protocols, including proper floor-care techniques, utilization of hazard signage, safe operation of equipment and chemicals, and compliance with all safety regulations to mitigate risks effectively.

What you need to succeed

  • 1+ years of experience in a leadership capacity, preferably in a managerial role, showcasing your ability to inspire and guide others effectively
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrate a foundational understanding of maintenance equipment and chemical usage.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic, coupled with the autonomy to execute scheduled duties meticulously and the proactive initiative to address unforeseen challenges as they arise.


Physical R equirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to push and pull up to 50 lbs of force occasionally
  • Occasional: Sitting and climbing; frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, and handling
  • Frequent: Head turn, trunk bend, side reach, grasp, power grip, pinch, finger manipulation, & feel
  • Constant - Stand, handling, & forward reach
