WLUK FOX 11 has an exciting opportunity for a part-time News Production Assistant!

Responsibilities include:

Assist in the production of daily newscasts including, but not limited to:

• Set up & tear down of required studio elements and sets
• Preshow lighting, audio, and IFB checks
• Assist with preshow & post-show production
• Operate teleprompter during newscasts
• Maintain studio environment and supply inventories
• Grip for location shoots
• Crew for remote productions
• Train to fill in and move up to control room positions
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:

• Related education and/or experience preferred
• Strong candidates will be familiar with all phases of studio and control room operations

General Hours:

• Flexible shift that may include working some weekends and holidays
