Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Wash Bay Attendant to join our Boart Longyear team in Elko, Nevada

This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and will work closely with the Maintenance Department, Yard Workers and Operations. The Wash Bay Technician is responsible for inspection and washing of all drill rigs, support equipment, light vehicles and drilling tools prior to service and repairs taking place. They are also responsible for the cleanliness of the wash bay, yard, and shop areas. Additional task may be assigned as needed by the maintenance supervisor or lead mechanics.

Minimum Qualifications

* Basic knowledge of drilling and mining equipment.

* Basic understanding of preventative maintenance

* Ability to drive a manual transmission.

Education and Experience:

* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

* Current/Valid Driver's License

Essential Functions:

* Utilize high pressure washing equipment and hotsy systems.

* Utilize a variety of cleaning solvents, liquids, tools, and techniques effectively.

* Maintain cleanliness of company equipment - Washing of exteriors, including underbodies and cab.

* Work safely always, adhering to all applicable safety polices and comply with all company policies, standards, and procedures.

* Communicate with Maintenance Supervisor and mechanics the progress of assigned tasks.

* Work within and promote company vision and values.

Additional Responsibilities:

* Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.

* Ensure personal safety by using designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and tools.

* Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Ability to work with little to no supervision, time management and ability to stay on task.

* Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with Maintenance Supervisor, Mechanics, and Operation Teams.

Physical Demands:

* While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods of time. They are also required to reach with their hands/arms, climb, balance, stoop or kneel.

* Ability to work, walk and stand on concrete throughout duration of shift.

* Employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

* Ability to work at suspended heights.
