Job Description

ChampionX is seeking an International Logistics Analyst located in Sugar Land, Texas. The International Logistics Analyst is responsible for daily operational and strategic management of export orders for international customers with utilizing world class software and having impact across ChampionX's international supply chain.

What You Will Do:

  • Manages and Support the Export from order processing to delivery, including investigating product availability, building compatible loads/containers, scheduling shipping, preparing invoices and providing proper documentation to carriers, affiliates and customers
  • Monitors Export process execution reports and identify actions required
  • Communicates effectively over phone and e-mail to provide order status, product and availability information and to resolve Export issues with internal and external customers
  • Maintains effective track & trace process with in-transit shipments
  • Ensures the accurate input of all orders into the Order Entry system
  • Interfaces with freight forwarders, ocean carriers and other service providers
  • Consolidates and reports export metric information in the established times frames
  • Effective cost management per contractual and/or budgetary guidelines
  • Regulatory Compliance: Hazardous regulations, monitor legal controls, attend and complete all required regulatory and hazardous compliance training
  • Works with key stakeholders and connecting functional groups such as Product Registration, Manufacturing, Credit, Central Planning, Procurement, Warehousing etc. as well external third-party suppliers and brokers/agents to foster good relationships for successful execution of work process.
  • Identifies and drives improvements the overall international logistics process focusing on service and efficiency improvement as well as cost savings.
  • Responsible to drive excellence through metrics/data
  • Drives results through initiative, ownership and accountability

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent ChampionX experience
  • Minimum 3 years' work experience in international logistics, transportation, operations or a related field
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel
  • Immigration sponsorship not available for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Transportation or a related field of study
  • Proven track record of performing under pressure to meet firm timelines.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms 2020

  • Ability to work independently and interact within a team atmosphere
  • Understanding of cultural diversity and intricacies of specific international markets.

  • Minimum of 2 years of analyzing experience with spreadsheet or database applications
  • SAP navigational knowledge
  • Training and certification in dangerous good shipping (DOT, IMDG & IATA)
  • Willingness to travel for training (5%)
