JOB SUMMARY
Under general direction, performs a variety of tasks required to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the Pavilion.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Responsible for maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment both inside and outside of the Pavilion.
* Open the building and disarm the alarm. Walk through for safety and security check.
* Check daily building schedule for all activities to be held for that day.
* Set-up and break down for functions. Open all doors as needed for instructors and customers. Set up room as needed.
* Ensure that programs are running smoothly and that customers are served above and beyond their expectations.
* Report work order and maintenance needs.
* Complete and submit daily task sheets and other reports as needed to the Facility Maintenance Coordinator.
* Performs general custodial duties.
* Prepare rooms for classes and programs.
* Reports and takes action to correct unsafe conditions in buildings.
* Ability to learn and physically perform tasks related to the general cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of buildings to ready them for recreational programming.
* Performs the job safely and in compliance with district policies, procedures, work and safety rules.
* Be familiar with the safe operation of any equipment necessary in accomplishing required tasks.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Ability to work assigned schedule
* Good knowledge of pertinent safety precautions.
* Ability to maintain positive and effective working relationships with other employees.

High School diploma or equivalent
