City Experiences is seeking a Cleaner for our City Cruises operation in New York.

About the Opportunity:

The successful Food & Beverage Cleaner will perform detailed cleaning tasks in both front of the house and back of the house areas of our vessels, in order to provide a clean and sanitary environment for both shipmates and guests.

About You:

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Front of the House (FOH)
  * Routine and deep cleaning of all FOH areas, including but not limited to floors/carpets, bus stations, bar areas, windows, etc.
  * Set up and break down dining room and service stations as prescribed; this requires movement of dining cabin furniture
• Back of the House (BOH)
  * Routine and deep cleaning of all BOH areas, including but not limited to floors, kitchen prep areas, kitchen cooking surfaces, ovens, kitchen equipment, etc.
  * Operate dish machine- ensure all dishes are cleaned, organized, and stored appropriately
  * Ensure that dishwasher is in proper working order-responsible for routine cleaning of equipment and refilling chemicals as needed
  * Test and document dish machine temperature and sanitizer daily
• Additional job duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• * High school diploma or equivalency preferred
  * Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  * Prior cleaning/janitorial experienced preferred
  * Must be self-motivated
  * Must be detail-oriented
