Summary

Fabricate and assemble vessels, components, tank parts and piping according to job orders and/or drawings. Ability to understand and follow all safety rules and to set an example in safety, quality, and production.

Essential Functions

1. Read and understand, layout and fabricate from vessel drawings.

2. Ability to cut and bevel holes with a hand torch and cut and bevel pipe, that requires limited grinding to achieve work.

3. Fit shell cans together figuring mismatch if any.

4. Layout head and shell of vessel per drawings utilizing water level.

5. Properly fit nozzles, clips, and attachments in a head or shell of a vessel.

6. Fabricate from piping isometrics.

7. Accurately figure cut lengths from an isometric drawing.

8. Safely operate overhead crane.

9. Properly rig to fit shell cans, heads, move vessel or load on truck.

Qualification Standards:

• 3+ years field experience.
• Undergo baseline audiogram.
• Pass drug/alcohol screen and background check.
• Rigging and flagging experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

• High School or GED preferred but not required.
• Trade School program preferred but not required.
