Job Description

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  1. Handle all aspects of media planning and buying for all non-digital media including but not limited to Network TV, National Cable, Syndication, CTV/OTT, Network Radio, and Print/Magazine ensuring we are connecting with our consumers in meaningful ways throughout their path to purchase.
  2. Negotiate added value integration opportunities with all networks to increase branding and keep CBG brands top of mind with consumers. Work closely with content, promotions, creative teams, and/or agencies to ensure proper execution of all integrations.
  3. Champion flawless execution and project management of media plans, ensuring timelines are being developed and shared with key contributors promptly.
  4. Establish strong working relationships with all advertising reps to establish accurate and impactful schedules.
  5. Responsible for ensuring media delivery across all purchased media types, including but not limited to ADUs, and providing comprehensive quarterly post and buy reports to senior management.
  6. Work strategically with other Media Managers to leverage media investments across all partners to secure effective and efficient pricing.
  7. Develop and determine process flows for traffic, creative optimizations, and agency partner management.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of national media planning, buying or a related field
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Comfortable in a fast paced environment
  • Exceptional multi-tasking ability and time management skills
  • Management experience

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to negotiate below market CPMs on all media
  • Stay on budget while hitting all impression goals
  • Clear understanding of media math

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10%
