Pay Range
$159,330.00 - $204,636.00 Annually
Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. Many factors are taken into consideration when setting starting pay including education, experience, the external labor market, and internal equity.
We have an opening for a Research Scientist in microbial genomics and bioinformatics. Opportunities exist to develop scientific capabilities to improve bio surveillance and detection of pathogens from complex environments. You will develop new methods, tools, and workflows for analysis of complex samples to identify emerging and unknown pathogens and determine their functional impacts. The selected candidate will also work with multiomics datasets for integrated data analysis and prediction of results. This position is in the Genomics group in the Biosciences and Biotechnology Division.

This is a Flexible Term appointment, which is for a definite period not to exceed six years.If final candidate is a Career Indefinite employee, Career Indefinite status may be maintained (should funding allow).
