At Adobe, we're seeking a talented web developer to play a key role in elevating the user experience of Photoshop on the web. As part of our team, you'll embark on an exciting journey to revolutionize how Photoshop is marketed and promoted, using cutting-edge interactive experiences to showcase its value and capabilities.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and quality engineering to translate the essence of Photoshop into engaging web experiences.
  • Develop innovative browser modules and reusable web components to highlight Photoshop's features and technology.
  • Ensure seamless performance and accessibility across various devices and platforms, delivering experiences that adapt to mobile, desktop, and more.
  • Deploy your creations across a range of Adobe web properties, reaching a global audience.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Demonstrated ability in creative problem-solving and independent thinking, with strong interpersonal skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in building and deploying web applications or component libraries.
  • Proficiency in developing adaptable, performant, and accessible web experiences for end users.
  • Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with a deep understanding of core web technologies.
  • Familiarity with modern client-side development tools such as Webpack, Rollup, and PostCSS.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with TypeScript or similar typed development contexts.
  • Familiarity with web components and related libraries like LitElement or Stencil.
  • Exposure to Adobe design software, particularly Photoshop.
  • Background in interactive rich media development or game development.
  • Knowledge of Lean Development or Agile methodologies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $124,000 -- $234,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
