Position Summary

This roleisresponsible for providing manufacturing quality program support to internal Kraft Heinz Ingredient (KHI) and Food Service factories. In this role, the individual will assist assigned factoriesin developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems in compliance with applicable Kraft Heinz Company policies, regulatory requirements, and third-party standards. This person will support plants in achieving Quality KPIs through commercialization and product risk assessments, participation in root cause activities, corrective and preventive action, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position provides quality systems leadership and support for issue resolution at assigned sites as needed. This individual will be responsible for providing guidance to assigned factoriesduring internal and external audits, participate in HACCP validations, micro program assessments, allergen validations,Vulnerability Assessmentsand plant process audits. A successful candidate should have multiple functional job experiences and must be results driven, adaptable to change, have experience leading cross functional teams(e.g., R&D, Micro/Food Safety, Marketing, Factory Quality, etc.)with or without direct reporting lines.This personwill also workclosely with other BU quality peers to ensure best practice sharing across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead QualityImprovement

  • Plant Programs-GMPs, Allergen Management,Lab and Analytical support, etc.
  • Kraft Heinz Quality Programs Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS), Golden Rules Compliance, Adherence to QualitySafety Policies (QSPs)
  • Key KPIs/MBOs: Food Safety Index (Right the First Time, Consumer Complaint Reduction), Golden Rule Adherence, Quality & Food Safety Assurance, Monitoring to ensure compliance
  • Other duties/ projects as assigned.

Proficiency

  • HACCP Compliance and Execution; Compliance with KHC and FSMA Requirements
  • Weight Control ongoing execution and compliance
  • Regulatory or 3rdParty Audit Support
  • Factory, EM or Supplier Assessment (e.g., KHMS, Platinum/Golden Rules) or Audit Support

Own Auditing Readiness:

  • Assure plants are audit ready at all times.
  • KHMS/ FSSC/QCMS Program Leadership
  • Plant Audit Preparation, Golden Rule, and QRMP Assessments and corrective action responses

Lead Continuous Improvement and Training Initiatives:

  • Plant Visits - Documentobservations and create actionable Follow-ups.
  • Planning and execution against quality KPI improvement plans
  • Training and development of plant quality and support
  • Identification and reaction to emerging trends (e.g., Complaints, Hold Drivers) through robust data analysisand a PDCA approach for establishing root cause

Support to category and communication:

  • Special Situations Investigations, On-Site Factory Assessments(Boots on the ground)
  • Communication/Issue Escalation to Quality Leadership or Key Shared Stakeholders (e.g., Risk Management)
  • Supplier Quality-Non-Conforming Raw Material Escalationand Support
  • SAP Support/Quality Data Systems/Meridian/ Quality Suite
  • Routine communication to Kraft Heinz Ingredient and Food Service customers in the form of quality complaint investigations, customer audit follow-ups, and product showings/cuttings.

New Product Commercialization and Brand Maintenance

  • Attend weekly cross-functional new product commercialization meetings
  • Ensure FSQ Standards are upheld during new product commercialization through STAR Risk Assessment and technical feedback to R&D, Marketing, etc.
  • As Needed, Attend Factory Trials to Ensure Successful Product Launches with R&D, Factory Quality, and Operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, or related fieldpreferred.
  • 2+years' experiencein Quality, R&D, or operationsrequired.
  • HACCP experience preferred.
  • Green Belt/Certified Quality Engineer is preferred.
  • Familiarity with KraftHeinzQuality Policies and Procedures is preferred.
  • Experience with ISO, and/or FSSC 22000 beneficial.
  • Capable ofmultitaskingand being self-motivated(e.g.,managingmultiple priorities and plants).
  • Ability to influence key internal and external business partners, assess and manage risk, and communicate across the supply chain required.
  • Willing to travel 25-50%.
