Job Description

Primary Duties

1. Supports the Enterprise in matters related to greenhouse gas (GHG) and air emissions monitoring and reporting, including data collection and analysis, preparation of air emissions calculations and associated graphics in support of reporting. Works within the enterprise emissions management software system (Intelex ACTS and ESG).

2. Familiar with state and federal regulations pertaining to environmental and GHG emissions monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting.

3. Works with internal and external stakeholders to collect and review data needed to prepare regulatory and internal reports related to the environmental aspects of ESG initiatives.

4. Collaborates regularly with internal and external stakeholders to maintain effective communications and exchange of information.

5. Supports emissions measurement activities to assist with environmental compliance.

6. Implements data management strategies, including but not limited to data collection, analysis, verification, and reporting as required for environmental compliance and ESG initiatives.

7. Prepares reports and dashboards for review to monitor and communicate on environmental performance.

8. Performs other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Educational/Experience Level
Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a closely related field, and five years of related experience or equivalent.

Communication Skills
Requires the ability to effectively communicate verbally with internal and external audiences; must possess excellent writing skills, including the knowledge of various styles, such as AP news style, speech writing, and persuasive (op-ed) writing.

Numeric Skills
Requires the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages, and simple statistical methods.

Computer Skills
Requires basic computer skills and basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, mapping, and PowerPoint software. Knowledge of Intelex ESG and ACTS or other EHS data management system and Tableau is a plus.

Physical Demands:
Requires occasionally performing activities include, but not limited to, driving, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning, and/or lifting.

Work Conditions
Work is in an office environment. Responsibilities may include periodic work outside the office. May require some traveling.
