$17.55/hourly

Summary

The Production Associate 2 is responsible for setting up and operating the corrupad, panel line, or corrugator machine. They are responsible for all aspects of quality, waste, and efficiency of the panel line operation.

Essential Functions

  • Checking for properly labeled pallets.
  • Accurately completing quality sheets for each pallet.
  • Making sure guards are in place before running order.
  • Performing housekeeping duties.
  • Understanding and following safety requirements, including following proper lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  • Ability to complete necessary paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ability to effectively read and use a tape measure.
  • Reading and understanding Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
  • Keeping glue pans and barrels full in the absence of machine operator.
  • Keeping ink in printer.
  • Splicing paper.
  • Record keeping of waste.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Responsible for training and working closely with temporary labor.
  • Initiating actions to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to products and processes.
  • Wearing all proper PPE and following all safety regulations/procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

Position Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience: Fast paced manufacturing or production experience preferred.
